Parking around any school is always an issue at any school at the beginning and end of the school day.

We therefore ask that parents park considerately when bringing and collecting their child from school. We have received complaints from local residents about the problem of parking and traffic congestion in the close proximity to our school.

Motorists should never park on the yellow zig-zags outside of school and those who do will be reported to the police.

The car park at the front of school is for staff only. It is very small and also there is a danger to parents and children entering the Nursery through the car park.

We would encourage parents to leave their cars at home if at all possible or to share the school run with another parent to cut down on the amount of vehicles trying to park near to school.

We are grateful to Brimington Common Methodist Church and The Miner's Arms pub who have given permission for our parents to park their cars at the start and end of the school day in their car parks. Please use these facilities.

Periodically we organise ‘walk to school’ days and we would encourage parents to support these days.
